In support of improving patient care, we comply to the following standards
Accreditations
Our current accreditations include
Joint Advisory Group (JAG)
Our HICSS software supports Endoscopy services participating in the JAG accreditation pathway which involves self-assessment and quality improvement. The standards have been established with the gastrointestinal (GI) community and are intended to provide patients/service users, healthcare professionals and senior leaders with assurance of the quality of the service provided. The HICSS software conforms to the latest JAG audit standards and provide advanced reporting and easy data access to support Endoscopy departments in the JAG audit process to ensure they meet the JAG accreditation standards.
National Endoscopy Database (NED)
The National Endoscopy Database (NED) is populated by data extracted automatically from our HICSS Endoscopy management system. NED makes this data available for clinicians, services, and research purposes to improve the Endoscopy services in the UK. The HICSS software has been awarded the latest NEDi2.1 compliant status by the NED committee. This status ensures our customers meet their JAG accreditation standards to maintain their NED/JAG compliance. see official NED status
JETS
The JAG Endoscopy Training System is an online framework for trainee certification in a number of endoscopy modalities including OGD, colonoscopy, and flexible sigmoidoscopy. Our HICSS Endoscopy management software automatically uploads data to the live JETS framework for training clinicals to validate their procedures in line with the JETs standards.
DCB 0129
NHS Digital clinical safety standards are now aligned with the new medical devices regulation for standalone software. This provides clarity and removes uncertainty regarding the registration of software compliance with this standard. We are pleased that the HICSS Endoscopy reporting software v8 release has achieved DCB 0219 certification by our partner Safehands. This assures our product is developed to the highest standards and mitigates clinical risk. Please contact us to review our clinical risk documents and Hazard logs.
ISO 9001:2015 - FS 758842
We are a ISO 9001 certified business. ISO 9001 is an internationally recognized standard for quality management systems, and it demonstrates our commitment to maintaining high-quality processes and customer satisfaction. Operating under ISO 9001 supports our products and services.
Data Security and Protection Toolkit (DSPT)
The Data Security and Protection Toolkit is an online self-assessment tool that allows organisations such as the University Hospital Southampton to measure their performance against the National Data Guardian’s 10 data security standards. Please see our DSPT status.
