HICSS NEDi2 Accredited

University Hospital Southampton has become the first supplier of Endoscopy Reporting Systems to achieve National Endoscopy Database i2 (NEDi2) compliance. UHS is a system supplier to many NHS trusts and growing. NEDi2 is a mandated dataset that all system suppliers have to comply with in order for customers to retain their JAG accreditation. Any NHS trust undertaking endoscopy investigations will also need to ensure their systems comply by June 2022.

It’s a complex set of changes and we’ve achieved it through hard work with collaboration of Informatics and Specialist Medicine.
